At long last.. we've wrangled and fussed for months.. we think we have a winning formula here..
50 years ago, on the other side of this country.. a thing happened.. Dubbed the "Summer of Love".. young people gathered, psychelia was born .. and the first of what would become a model for music festivals happened..
It was the world's introduction to so many of our now iconic musical artists..
Okay, so RANT is not on the scale of Monterey... but we pay tribute this year to that event 50 years ago by gathering in the Pgh neighborhood of Lawrenceville and presenting to you .. Pittsburgh's musical talents.. some you know, some you've never heard of.. we invite you to gather in the spirit of peace and love, enjoy the sounds, maybe find a new favorite or check out those you know of..
One last blast of summer fun before we turn our attention to all things autumnal..
Without further ado.. we present to you.. RANT 2017.. Year 6.. 3 days in Lawrenceville, some new venues to check out along with our old favorites.
